All Class Metal Finishing was created to keep a craft alive. For more than 35 years, restorers across Australia have trusted the work of Allan Morgan — a name tied to the legendary A Class Metal Finishers in Lonsdale, one of the finest chrome plating facilities in the country.
When the plating side of A Class changed hands in 2024 and the restoration side closed, loyal customers were left without the repair expertise they had relied on for decades. The demand was clear: the service had to continue. That’s how All Class Metal Finishing was born.
Allan brings nearly 25 years at A Class alone, plus years of experience running his own classic car restoration business before that. His knowledge of vehicles and their parts is unmatched, and his workmanship on bumper bars, radiator surrounds, grills, trims, and mouldings is second to none.
We specialise in restoring and repairing parts in preparation for chrome plating. From vintage showpieces to daily drivers, we work with all materials — brass, copper, aluminium, stainless steel, and steel. Every job gets the same care and attention to detail.
We also continue to work closely with A Class Plating, ensuring every part not only gets the best restoration and prep, but also a first-class chrome finish.
